Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Proposed Budget

The Town Council of the Town of Wytheville has set a Public Hearing on May 26, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers in the Municipal Building, 150 East Monroe Street, as the time and place to hear any persons desiring to be heard for or against the proposed budget as set forth herein. The meeting will be held for the purpose of discussion of the proposed budget. The proposed budget may be examined Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except for legal holidays. Citizens are encouraged to attend the meeting to express their views or submit comments by regular mail, telephone or email at angelap@wytheville.org. Individuals desiring to attend the meeting and requiring special accommodations are requested to contact the Municipal Office at least two days prior to the meeting by calling (276) 223-3349.

Memorial Day Refuse Collection

Due to the Memorial Day holiday, the refuse collection in the Town of Wytheville for Monday, May 25, 2026, will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. The normal collection scheduled for Tuesday, May 26, 2026, will be held on that day.

The Town of Wytheville’s Recycling Center located at 1025 South Third Street will not have an attendant on duty on Monday, May 25, 2026, due to the Memorial Day holiday. The attendant will return to assist citizens on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Please note that when an attendant is not on duty, the Recycling Center's gates are closed, and items cannot be dropped off.
